| Résumé – Les caractéristiques des carcasses et la teneur en eau, lipides et collagène de 6 muscles de la cuisse de lapins produits en élevage conventionnel (lot Standard n=15) et selon le cahier des charges de l’Agriculture Biologique (n=15 mâles : Bio_M, et n=15 femelles Bio_F) sont comparées. Les lapins standard et Bio sont abattus simultanément à 71 jours (2,3 kg) et 105 jours (2,4 kg) respectivement. Le rendement carcasse et la proportion des arrières sont plus élevés tandis que l’adiposité est plus faible chez les lapins Bio que chez les lapins standard. Le rapport muscle sur os n’est pas influencé par le mode d’élevage. Les pertes de jus à la cuisson sont les plus faibles chez les lapins du lot Bio_F et les plus fortes chez les lapins standard. | This paper reports results of to trial carried out to estimate the hygienic-sanitary of samples obtained from organic farming in comparison with products obtained from conventional agriculture. In three years of activity were carried out analysis on samples common or durum wheat, and processing products like flour, bran, macaroni and bread, obtained from biological and conventional method. Also samples of vegetables and fruits were analysed. | A study with organic broilers with access to a large range area with herbs was performed and the effect of three broiler genotype (JA757, T851, SU51) with different growth rates and different feeding strategies (HP vs LP) on the animals' feed intake, growth and welfare was investigated. The results so far indicate that feed intake from range and animal welfare is dependent on type of allocated feed and growth rate of the broiler genotype. Thus, gait scores and foot and plumage condition showed that the fastest growing broiler genotype had some problems when fed normal broiler feed, whereas this was not the case for the other genotypes. | Production of organic beef from young cattle is not very developed in Denmark, in spite of a well-established organic dairy production with male off-spring. These calves are sold to conventional production, because of low performance in organic production systems. The purpose of this study was to test a concept for production of organic beef based on crossbred animals from dairy cows sired with a beef breed. | The mulching with chopped grass (GM) and black textile mulch (BTM) were compared to non-mulching control variant (C) with mechanical cultivation in two regions of the Czech Republic. Especially in plots with BTM were first formed ridges and covered by the black polypropylene non-woven textile and then they were planting. The surface mulching of potatoes affected the soil temperature (higher about 0.2 – 1.6 °C than in C) and water potential of the soil (higher only by 8 kPa than in C). GM had a significant effect on the yield of ware potatoes. The final tuber yield was higher by 22.9 % on plots with GM in comparison with C. GM resulted in a significant increase of the number and weight of tuber fraction 56-60 mm and over 60 mm. |

| KONFERENS OM EKOLOGISKT LANTBRUK Centrum för uthålligt lantbruk (CUL) anordnade den 13 till 15 november 2001 en sjunde konferens om ekologiskt lantbruk vid Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet (SLU). På konferensen deltog cirka 450 personer och alla med ett intresse för ekologiskt lantbruk var välkomna. Under den tre dagar långa konferensen redovisade 92 forskare resultat från forskning inom ekologiskt lantbruk och redde ut begrepp. Intressanta ämnen som diskuterades var till exempel: hur global livsmedelsförsörjning och ekologiskt lantbruk kan gå ihop, ekologiska produkters kvalitet, djurens hälsa och välfärd på ekologiska gårdar, samt det ekologiska lantbrukets verkan som en positiv kraft för ökad livsmedelssäkerhet och en mer rättvis världshandel.... |
